For many tourists visiting Cox’s Bazar, choosing a hotel is about more than finding a place to sleep. Location, room comfort, dining options and recreational facilities can all shape the experience, particularly for families and couples looking to spend a few days by the sea.
Located in the Kolatoli hotel-motel zone, Long Beach Hotel offers a range of accommodation and facilities for tourists staying in Cox’s Bazar. The four-star hotel is situated at 14 Kolatoli Road, within easy reach of Sugandha and Laboni points on the beach.
The location lets guests reach the beach without spending much time on the road. The hotel also provides a range of room categories, allowing guests to choose accommodation based on their group size and requirements.
Masud Rana, General Manager of Long Beach Hotel, said that the hotel currently has 104 rooms. These include Premier, Superior Deluxe and Executive rooms, along with Premier Suites, Honeymoon Suites and a Presidential Suite.
The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, LED televisions, mini refrigerators, safety boxes and modern bathrooms. Private balconies are also available, giving guests an additional space to sit and relax.
Room sizes vary according to category. Premier rooms range from around 32 to 35 square metres, while Superior Deluxe rooms cover about 35 square metres. Executive rooms are approximately 37 square metres.
For guests seeking more space, the hotel offers Premier and Honeymoon Suites measuring around 75 square metres each. Its Presidential Suite covers approximately 200 square metres.
Beyond accommodation, the hotel offers several indoor facilities for guests who want to spend time indoors during their stay. These include an indoor heated swimming pool covering around 1,500 square feet, a fitness centre, a spa and wellness centre, and free parking.
The hotel also offers dining. Guests can dine at the Cozy Restaurant and Cafe 14, with regular dining options and special arrangements on selected days.
The hotel organises a special buffet dinner every Friday, priced at Tk 2,999 per person. The hotel also offers a staycation package for two people, including meals, with prices starting at Tk 6,499 per night.
Room rates vary depending on the season, holidays and available offers. At present, Premier rooms start at Tk 6,700, while Executive rooms start at Tk 7,500, according to the hotel authorities.
During regular periods, room rates generally start at around Tk 6,500 for different categories and can go up to Tk 40,000 for the Presidential Suite.
For tourists spending several days in Cox’s Bazar, the hotel’s facilities also offer alternatives to beach activities. Guests can use the swimming pool, fitness centre and wellness facilities, while the dining outlets provide options within the hotel.
With the beach, restaurants, and other attractions of the nearby Kolatoli area, Long Beach Hotel is one of the accommodation options available to tourists in one of Cox’s Bazar’s busiest tourism zones.
