Abatahi Md Al Jawad, a talented student from Cox’s Bazar, has been selected as the national best student on the occasion of National Education Week 2026.
He is a Class 9 student of Baitush Sharaf Jabbaria Academy School and College in Cox’s Bazar.
The national-level competition was held in Dhaka on January 18, bringing together top-performing students selected from all divisions of the country. Following a rigorous assessment and detailed evaluation by an expert jury, Abatahi Md Al Jawad was declared the best student at the national level.
At the award ceremony, education adviser CR Abrar formally presented the medal, trophy, and crest to the winner.
Abatahi Md Al Jawad is the son of Amanul Haque, head teacher of Fazl Ambia High School in Ramu, and Professor Hosne Ara Parvin of Cox’s Bazar Islamia Mohila Kamil Madrasa.
His achievement has been warmly celebrated by his family, educational institutions, and the people of Cox’s Bazar, who expressed pride and joy at his success.
