Due to the weekend and the closure of educational institutions, tourists are flocking to Cox’s Bazar. With restrictions in place for visiting the hill districts, the beach town has become the top destination.
Reports from the local hotels reveal that all star-rated accommodations are fully booked well in advance, with other hotels also bustling with tourists.
To manage the visitor surge, the Tourist Police are working tirelessly around the clock. An executive magistrate leads the Tourism Cell and conducts regular operations alongside them. The Se Safe Lifeguards are also actively ensuring safety and working to prevent any untoward incidents in the sea.
