Iftiar Hossain, popularly known as Ifti, a promising midfielder for the Bangladesh U-20 national football team, has set his dream to play for the senior national team.
Born in Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar, Ifti is a proud member of the Bangladesh U-20 team that recently claimed the title in the SAFF U-20 Football Championship by defeating Nepal in 4-1 margin in the final, held at the ANFA Complex in Kathmandu.
This is the first title for Bangladesh in this competition.
Speaking to Cox’s Bazar Life, Ifti expressed his ambition to represent the national team.
He also said that he hopes that more footballers from Cox’s Bazar will rise to the national level, contributing to the country’s footballing success.
