The crescent moon of Shawwal 1446 Hijri has been sighted in the skies over Cox’s Bazar, confirming that Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated across Bangladesh on Monday, March 31.
Following a meeting of the Moon Sighting Committee, Fahmida Begum, Deputy Director of the Islamic Foundation in Cox’s Bazar,
“The holy Eid-ul-Fitr moon has been sighted in Cox’s Bazar, and the festival will be observed tomorrow,” she added.
