An exciting English Talent Show was held at Cox’s Bazar International University on 2 December, filling the campus with celebration and youthful enthusiasm.
The event took place in the university’s conference hall and was inaugurated by Dr. Kazi Mostain Billah, Dean of the School, along with representatives from international donor agency TICA — Abdul Kadir Bayram and Ayesha Noor.
Organized under the leadership of Tamanna Nowrin Azam, Head of the Department of English and Assistant Professor, the programme saw active participation from the department’s faculty members, including the university’s Proctor, Badiul Alam.
The campus came alive with the delightful presence of students and their diverse performances, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the university grounds.
The Department of English launched this initiative to showcase its students’ creativity, skills, and progressive intellectual abilities.
Speaking about the event, Tamanna Nowrin Azam said the English Talent Show was organized to provide a platform for local talent to showcase their artistic excellence.
She added that the exhibition of painting and fine arts, culinary arts, music, dance, recitation, and oratory skills captivated the audience and reflected the vibrant cultural identity of the students.
