Flights at Cox’s Bazar Airport will now operate until 10 PM, providing greater flexibility for travelers. Starting from Sunday, this extended schedule will allow tourists and passengers to enjoy the convenience of day trips, enabling them to travel to and from Cox’s Bazar in a single day.
Officials anticipate this new service will positively impact tourism, easing travel and increasing passenger accessibility. According to airport authorities, the extension will increase the number of flights, making travel even more convenient.
Golam Mortuza Hossain, the airport manager, mentioned that as the winter season approaches and passenger numbers rise, they anticipate an increase in flight frequency. The nighttime flights are expected to contribute significantly to tourism growth.
The Civil Aviation Authority has extended the flight permit from 7 PM to 10 PM. With the new schedule, the 17 daily flights between Dhaka and Cox’s Bazar are expected to increase.
