Spring has breathed new life into the landscape along Marine Drive in Cox’s Bazar. Rows of tall mango trees lining both sides of the scenic coastal road are heavy with blossoms, many of which have already begun transforming into tiny green mangoes. The captivating sight is drawing the attention of tourists and locals alike.
Hanif, a visitor to the area, said he had never witnessed such a scene before. Watching flowers turn into buds and then into small green mangoes right before his eyes, he remarked, was a unique and delightful experience of nature’s transformation.
Local traders and passers-by said the number of people visiting Marine Drive has increased with the arrival of spring.
The blend of blossoms and young green mangoes has turned the roadside into a natural canvas. Many tourists stop to take photographs and enjoy the refreshing surroundings.
According to local agriculture office sources, the transition from blossom to mango at this time of year is part of the tree’s natural growth cycle.
It marks the initial stage of fruit development, which will mature over the coming months. Being able to observe this process firsthand, local agricultural experts said, is both educational and enjoyable for visitors.
