As the afternoon progressed on February 14, Cox’s Bazar sea beach came alive with a festive atmosphere marking the arrival of spring and Valentine’s Day. Along the sandy stretches of the world’s longest natural sea beach in Cox’s Bazar, crowds of local visitors and tourists from different parts of the country gathered to celebrate the day.
Young men and women in red and yellow outfits, along with families and groups of friends, filled the shoreline, creating a vibrant, cheerful atmosphere.
The soft light of the late afternoon sun and the gentle rhythm of the waves added to the charm of the beach.
People strolled hand in hand along the shore, while others captured special moments against the backdrop of the setting sun.
Numerous visitors were busy taking photos and sharing videos on social media, hoping to preserve memories of the day.
Rahul and Jayanti, a couple visiting from Rajshahi, said spending time by the sea on the first day of spring felt unique.
They expressed joy as they celebrated the day of love amidst nature’s beauty.
According to a local tourist, he makes an effort to visit the beach on this day each year. “Spending time with friends, taking photos, and enjoying the atmosphere makes it special,” he said.
Even after sunset, the presence of visitors remained noticeable along the beach. Law enforcement agencies, including the Tourist Police, patrolled the area to ensure security.
Blending the colours of spring with the emotions of Valentine’s Day, Cox’s Bazar sea beach once again demonstrated how the meeting of nature and human sentiment creates truly memorable moments.
