The Moheshkhali Channel tells a tale of bygone days when Gambot boats thrived as an essential part of the local fishing industry.

With hanging nets, fishermen’s calls, and lively commotion, these boats seemed almost alive amid the dynamic waters.

However, those vibrant days have faded with time. Today, these boats primarily serve as passenger vessels, navigating the channel’s shimmering waters while silently carrying the echoes of a rich past.

They journey through scenic landscapes, connecting lives while blending into nature’s beauty.

Despite modern changes, the Gambot boats remain cherished—symbols of heritage and resilience intertwined with the skies, waters, and winds of Moheshkhali.
