Gyananneshan Pathagar (Knowledge Quest Library), a privately registered community library in Ramu upazila of Cox’s Bazar, enthusiastically celebrated its 8th founding anniversary on Tuesday (April 15). The occasion was marked by a cake-cutting ceremony with children and teenagers at the library premises in Rajarkul.

The event featured vibrant cultural performances, including songs by the local band Shohoj Bakko and the library’s young talents. The venue came alive with poetry recitations, music, and lively conversations that reflected the spirit of learning and creativity.

Advocate Shipto Barua, president of Gyananveshan Pathagar, said, “For years, this library has served as a vital hub for knowledge and learning. We hope to continue expanding the scope of knowledge and science together with our community.”

Vice President Asim Barua shared that future initiatives would focus on encouraging young readers to engage more with books, fostering a lifelong love for reading among children and adolescents.

The celebration concluded with a series of cultural performances, making the anniversary a joyous and inspiring experience for all attendees.
