Farmers across the coastal stretch of Pechar Dwip are spending busy days transplanting new rice seedlings. Fields are alive with activity as some farmers uproot seedlings from seedbeds, while others carefully plant them in well-prepared paddies. Local farmer Abdul Rahim said that if the weather remains favourable, they expect to harvest ripe paddy within the next two to three months.
