On holidays, resident students of Amtailah village along the Marine Drive Road spend their leisure time fishing by the sea. Boys in lungis and shorts pulling nets—not professional fishermen, but madrasa students. Riyaz, one of them, said they all come to the beach with nets during madrasa holidays. Although they caught only one fish, he added, the simple success brought immense joy to everyone.
