Momtahina Hasnat Mahi, a talented youth from Cox’s Bazar, is studying psychology at Chittagong College.
Her extracurricular activities, including painting, singing, and fluency in presenting English, made her famous in her community.
Speaking to the Cox’s Bazar Life, Mahi shared her vision for Cox’s Bazar.
“To me, Cox’s Bazar is a place of immense potential. Growing up here, I have had the privilege of experiencing its people up close. My journey as an artist also began here,” she added.
She also said that as a coastal city, Cox’s Bazar is rich in every respect, with enthusiastic young people engaged in everything from climate issues to politics. Yet, without proper guidance, many struggle to understand their purpose entirely.
Mahi is currently studying mental health and intends to pursue a career in journalism. She emphasizes the need for mental health awareness among Cox’s Bazar’s youth.
“I believe we should pay more attention to the mental well-being of young people here,” she added, hoping the youth can unlock their future with their talents and inspire the country.
