The Job Fair 2025 took place in Cox’s Bazar, connecting more than 950 young men and women with employers, entrepreneurs, and development organizations.

Organized by Save the Children and BITA, the fair featured 31 participating companies and provided direct employment to 112 candidates.

Additionally, eight CV drop boxes set up at the venue created further opportunities for the youth. National and international NGOs also joined as observers, offering information on skills development, livelihoods, and empowerment.

Mohammad Salahuddin, Deputy Commissioner of Cox’s Bazar attended the event as chief guest.

‘Get a job, grow with the job, and let your job glow your life. Love your work and always stay prepared for the next step. Improve your skills, and you’ll become a truly skilled person, then you won’t have to chase a job, the job will find you,’ he said.

Md Golam Mostofa, Cox’s Bazar Area Office Director of Save the Children, said, “Starting a career is a remarkable milestone, but it is only the beginning. I encourage you to continue learning and enhancing your skills. The Skills to Succeed program is equipping youth not only for employment but also for entrepreneurship.”

At the fair, male and female entrepreneurs displayed a wide range of businesses, including food, fashion and clothing, henna art, beauty care, hotel services, graphic design, digital marketing, printing, and logistics solutions.

The event concluded with cultural performances, graduate reflections, employer feedback, and the presentation of the Male Champion Award and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Award.
