Kajol, a 6th-grader, captures photos of tourists visiting the Sonarpara beach of Ukhia. She uses either her smartphone or one of the tourists’ smartphones instead of a high-resolution camera, though. Many young people are now following her since she has established herself as one of Cox’s Bazar’s top smartphone photographers. Kajol’s father sells green coconuts on the same beach and her mother is a housewife.
