Along the world’s longest sea beach, the lives and livelihoods of thousands revolve around the sea. From dawn till late night, fishermen remain busy—some venturing deep into the waters in search of big catches, others casting nets near the shore for smaller fish. At Himchari Beach, the morning begins with the rhythmic motion of nets and waves. Some fishermen rush to catch fish carried in by the tide, while others wait patiently for their turn. The blend of sea breeze, labor, and life creates a mesmerizing scene that often draws the gaze of visiting tourists.
