Bangladesh Meteorological Department predicted light to moderate and moderately heavy to heavy rainfall or thundershowers with temporary gusty wind at places over all eight divisions of the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am Sunday (August 25).
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions; at many places over Dhaka and Sylhet divisions and a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions,” said the weather bulletin issued this morning.
Rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6 am today was recorded 133 mm in Koyra, an upazila of Khulna district.
