Renowned filmmaker and Cultural Affairs Advisor to the Interim Government Mostafa Sarwar Farooki will inaugurate the Cox’s Bazar District Book Fair. Starting on January 10, Farooki will participate in the event during his two-day visit to Cox’s Bazar.
According to the itinerary signed by his Private Secretary, Muktadirul Ahmed, Farooki will also visit key cultural sites on January 11, including the Cox’s Bazar Shilpakala Academy, the Cultural Center, and the Public Library.
This marks Farooki’s first visit to Cox’s Bazar since assuming the role of Cultural Affairs Advisor. Later that day, after completing his official engagements, we expect him to depart for Dhaka.
The book fair is anticipated to be a cultural highlight for Cox’s Bazar, drawing attention to the region’s literary and artistic vibrancy.
