On 30 November 2025, ANM Sajedur Rahman formally assumed charge as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) for Cox’s Bazar district.
A native of Bogura and a member of the 27th BCS (Police) cadre, Sajedur Rahman arrives with a distinguished service record. He has previously served successfully as SP of SB, Dhaka, and as SP of Habiganj district.
Following the handover of duties, the new SP pledged to maintain law and order across the district and to take effective measures to curb crime in the tourism city.
“My primary goal is to serve with integrity, dedication, and professionalism,” he stated, calling on the people of Cox’s Bazar for their earnest cooperation.
