Over 8,000 Rohingyas have recently entered Bangladesh as a result of armed conflict in Myanmar’s Rakhine state, according to Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain said on Tuesday.
He also said that he has information that around 8,000 Rohingyas have crossed into Bangladesh and they will sit on a serious discussion at the cabinet within the next 2-3 days.
He also informed that Bangladesh has decided not to shelter any more forcibly displaced Rohingyas as Bangladesh has no longer the capacity to do this.
He said that the border with Myanmar has been sealed though there is some difficulty.
