The Prime Bank National School Cricket 2024-25 (Cox’s Bazar district) final match was held today (February 5) at the Cox’s Bazar International Stadium. In the final, Cox’s Bazar International School faced Pekua Govt. Model GMC Institute. The Pekua team played brilliantly and won the championship.
After winning the toss, Cox’s Bazar International School decided to bat first. However, their batting lineup struggled, and they scored only 91 runs in 50 overs before getting all out.
The Pekua Govt. Model GMC Institute confidently started chasing a target of 92 runs. They reached the target in 16.3 overs, losing only three wickets and securing a comfortable victory.
With this win, the Pekua team became the best school cricket team in Cox’s Bazar. They will now compete in the divisional level of the tournament.
