Dhallywood’s leading actor Shakib Khan arrived in the tourist city of Cox’s Bazar on Thursday for a brief two-day visit.

The actor is currently busy shooting the film Prince directed by Abu Hayat Mahmud in Sri Lanka.

Amid the filming schedule, Shakib returned to Bangladesh on Thursday morning, landing first at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka before flying to Cox’s Bazar by helicopter.

Footage of Shakib Khan’s arrival in Cox’s Bazar has since gone viral on social media.

SK Films’ official page shares several video clips showing him receiving warm welcomes with flowers upon disembarking from the helicopter.

His sudden visit sparked curiosity among fans and followers, with many speculating that he might be in the coastal town for the shooting of a new film or a commercial.

However, sources said the purpose of the visit was different.

Shakib Khan is the brand ambassador of Square Group, one of the country’s leading industrial conglomerates.

He travelled to Cox’s Bazar from Sri Lanka to attend a retailer meet organised by the company.

According to close sources, the actor is scheduled to return to Sri Lanka on Friday after the event and resume shooting for Prince.
