During the holy month of Ramadan, when the bustle of the day gradually fades, the beach of Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach reveals a different charm at night. In the calm, crowd-free environment, the sound of the sea waves and the cool breeze bring a unique sense of peace to tourists.
Known as the world’s longest natural sea beach, Cox’s Bazar sees comparatively fewer tourists at night during Ramadan than at other times of the year. As a result, the beach’s natural beauty becomes more visible. The moonlight reflecting on the sea, the roar of the waves, and the vast stretch of sand together create a magical atmosphere.
Local resident Nurul Islam, who came to the beach at night, said the environment during Ramadan nights feels completely different. Without the daytime crowds, the sound of waves and the cool wind make visitors feel closer to nature.
A tourist, Shamim Ahmed, said he often comes to the beach after iftar with his family for a short walk. The quiet surroundings bring a sense of calm and allow people to experience the beauty of Ramadan nights even more deeply.
Locals say the peaceful atmosphere during Ramadan nights gives people a new opportunity to enjoy the true beauty of the beach. Gradually, after iftar every evening, visitors gather along the shoreline to spend some quiet moments.
In the sacred atmosphere of Ramadan, the tranquil nights at Cox’s Bazar beach have become a unique meeting point of nature and serenity.
