The breathtaking beauty of Rejukhal in Cox’s Bazar continues to enchant visitors. With its serene natural surroundings—where hills, lush green forests, and the Bay of Bengal meet—Rejukhal is often described as a hidden gem of the region.
Nestled away from the bustle of the city, the area offers travelers a chance to spend tranquil moments in the lap of nature.
Thousands of tourists journey along the Cox’s Bazar Marine Drive daily, crossing the Rejukhal Bridge on their way to Inani, Patuartek, and Teknaf.
Rejukhal is essentially a river flowing through Cox’s Bazar. Originating from the Reju Amtali Black Hills near the Bangladesh–Myanmar border and the Naf River, it winds its way past Ghumdhum Union of Naikhongchhari upazila, skirting Rajapalong Union in Ukhiya before finally merging with the Bay of Bengal.
Several villages surround its banks, including Morichapalong, Jaliapalong, Dhoapalong, Dheuapalong, Paglipara, and Rejupara. Being directly connected to the sea, Rejukhal experiences regular tidal flows, adding to its unique charm.
