The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations for the year 2025 have been officially announced. The results were published on Thursday at 2 PM, revealing a pass rate of 70.76% in Cox’s Bazar district.

Cox’s Bazar Government Girls’ High School has taken the lead in GPA-5 achievers, according to preliminary data collected from several schools in Cox’s Bazar. Out of 267 examinees, 259 students passed, achieving a remarkable 97% pass rate, with 133 students securing GPA-5.

In terms of pass rate, Cox’s Bazar Government High School for Boys is slightly ahead. Among 240 students, 234 passed, resulting in a 97.5% pass rate, with 125 students obtaining GPA-5.

Baitush Sharaf Jabbaria Academy also showed strong performance. Of 433 candidates, 392 students passed, making the pass rate 90.53%, with 68 GPA-5 holders.

Cox’s Bazar Model High School had 252 candidates, of whom 220 passed, with a pass rate of 87.3%. A total of 16 students earned GPA-5.

Chakaria Korak School had 376 examinees, and 337 passed, showing an 89.63% pass rate, while 89 students scored GPA-5.

The overall results paint a promising picture for education in Cox’s Bazar, with several institutions showing strong academic performance in both pass rates and GPA-5 achievements.
