Bright sunshine returned to Cox’s Bazar on Thursday after a day of heavy rainfall, bringing renewed vibrancy to the scenic Marine Drive as residents and tourists flocked to enjoy the refreshed landscape.
The rain-washed hills, forests and lush greenery along both sides of the Marine Drive appeared more vibrant under clear skies, offering tourists picturesque views of the coastline.
From the morning, the route witnessed a steady flow of tourists, local residents and nature lovers. Many visited with their families, while others explored the scenic road on motorcycles or in private vehicles, enjoying the combination of verdant hills, the blue waters of the Bay of Bengal and bright sunshine.
Local resident Md Saiful Islam said the weather had become exceptionally pleasant after Tuesday’s rain.
“The surroundings look much greener and fresher today. It is the kind of weather that makes you want to come here again and again,” he said.
Local business owners said the number of visitors increased further in the afternoon as the weather remained clear. Many tourists took photographs and spent time at various viewpoints overlooking the sea.
