During the Durga Puja holiday, the special train arrived at Cox’s Bazar with 634 passengers from Dhaka. It will run until October 13.
The station master, Golam Rabbani, confirmed that the train left Dhaka at 11:00 PM on October 10 and arrived at Cox’s Bazar Iconic Railway Station at 8:30 a.m. on Friday (October 11).
He said that the non-stop special train from Dhaka arrived at Cox’s Bazar with 634 passengers.
Railways decided to run the train in consideration of the passenger demand during the four consecutive days of the Durga Puja holiday.
From October 10 to October 13, the special train will depart Dhaka at 11:00 PM and arrive in Cox’s Bazar at 7:30 AM.
From October 11 to 13, the special train will leave Cox’s Bazar at 1:40 PM and reach Dhaka’s Kamalapur station at 10:00 PM daily.
Two regular inter-city trains, “Cox’s Bazar Express” and “Prjotok Express,” run from Dhaka. A special train runs from Chittagong to Cox’s Bazar.
