Cox’s Bazar is buzzing with tourists this Friday, thanks to the Durga Puja and weekend holidays. Thousands of tourists have enjoyed the sea since morning despite red flags hoisting at the major points.
Ignoring safety warnings, many continue to swim, putting pressure on lifeguards, the tourist police, and district authorities are struggling to manage the large crowds.
Meanwhile, the Cox’s Bazar Hotel-Motel and Guest House Owners Association has reported that all rooms are fully booked, leaving no vacancies in the city.
