In line with the nationwide observance, a three-day Land Fair has commenced across all nine upazilas of Cox’s Bazar under the theme “Pay land development tax regularly, protect your property.”
To mark the occasion, each upazila in Cox’s Bazar organized rallies, discussion sessions, and quiz competitions to raise awareness about land services. As part of Land Service Week, the events in Ukhiya, Maheshkhali, Kutubdia, and Pekua upazilas have already drawn public attention.
Speakers at the events said the fair aims to bring land-related services directly to the people’s doorsteps, making the process easier, more transparent, and more citizen-friendly.
