Three young swimmers from Cox’s Bazar Swimming School have earned “Yes Cards” in the Chattogram divisional round of the nationwide talent hunt, “Searching for the Best Swimmer in Bangladesh 2025.” The successful swimmers are Robiul Hasan, Ahanat Tahmid Rafi, and Mehedi Hasan Hridoy.
The divisional selection, organized by the Bangladesh Swimming Federation with overall support from the Bangladesh Navy, was held at the Chattogram Swimming Pool. Eight swimmers from Cox’s Bazar Swimming School participated in the competition, with three emerging as top contenders and earning advancement.
All three competed in Group B, which includes participants aged between 12 and 15. As winners, they have unlocked various prestigious opportunities: a two-year residential training camp, academic enrollment at the Navy-run School and College in Dhaka, participation in national and international swimming competitions, chances to receive overseas training scholarships, and a pathway to a career in the Bangladesh Navy.
Riazul Kabir, Director of the Cox’s Bazar Swimming School, expressed his pride at the achievement, saying, “These three swimmers have brought honor not just to our school but to the entire Cox’s Bazar district.”
Looking ahead, 20 swimmers from Cox’s Bazar will participate in the upcoming National Swimming Competition in Dhaka on May 20, under the supervision of the district administration and the District Sports Association.
