Reju Canal, a river in Cox’s Bazar district, experiences tidal flow due to its connection with the Bay of Bengal. Originating from the Naf River on the Bangladesh-Myanmar border and Reju Amtali Kala Pahar at the frontier, the canal travels nearly 30 kilometers through Ukhiya before merging with the Bay at the Reju estuary.
Flowing from Ghumdhum Union in Naikhongchhari Upazila, the canal traces the boundary of Rajapalong Union in Ukhiya Upazila, passing through Ratnapalong Union before it empties into the Bay of Bengal. Along its course, the canal crosses the Marine Drive near Sonar Para’s Ghatghor area and is close to Pechar Dwip.
