Tourist numbers have increased at Inani Sea Beach in Cox’s Bazar, driven by the appeal of nature during the three-day public and weekly holidays, including Chdays.

Each area has come alive with visitors of all ages, drawn by the pleasant weather and rolling waves.

Families, groups of friends, and travel enthusiasts arriving from different parts of the country were seen walking along the sandy shore, taking photographs, and soaking in the scenic beauty of the sea.

Many also delighted in the waves’ splashing under the warm winter sun.

As the day progressed, footfall increased further across different points of the beach.

Asif, a tourist from Dhaka, said he chose Inani Beach to enjoy some peaceful time during Christmas and the extended holidays.

“Leaving behind the chaos of the city, Inani has become one of the most preferred destinations for spending time close to nature,” he said.

Meanwhile, local businessman Abul Kalam expressed satisfaction over the growing number of tourists, noting that increased tourist arrivals bring additional income for local traders.

At the same time, law enforcement agencies and the tourist police have been maintaining round-the-clock vigilance to ensure the safety and security of visitors, officials said.
