Amid the sweltering summer heat, tourists of all ages are seen floating on tubes in the waters of the Bay of Bengal. Taking advantage of the three-day government holiday, thousands of tourists have flocked to Cox’s Bazar sea beach. At Sugandha Beach Point, many tourists enjoy the high tide by renting inner tubes and drifting along the waves. Tubes are available for rent at all major beach spots and typically cost Tk 50 per hour.
