As intense summer heat continues to affect daily life, the green surroundings of Kabita Chattar and the rows of jhau trees beside the Cox’s Bazar sea beach have emerged as a place of comfort for tourists.
The naturally scenic area is now attracting both local visitors and tourists from different parts of the country.
The number of visitors to the casuarina groves particularly increases in the afternoon. The shade of the trees, a cool sea breeze, and a serene green environment provide relief from the heat and fatigue.
Many people are spending time at Kabita Chattar with family members.
Some are taking photographs, while others are enjoying the calm natural surroundings.
Local visitor Asad said that due to the intense heat, many people were now avoiding the city’s busy atmosphere and spending more time close to nature.
He said the cool environment of the casuarina groves was offering visitors a sense of comfort, adding that alongside the sea beach, the green forest area had become one of the attractions of Cox’s Bazar.
People associated with the tourism sector said that during the hot season, Kabita Chattar and the casuarina groves had become places of relaxation for tourists.
They said the combination of lush greenery and the clean coastal environment had made the area increasingly attractive to tourists.
