Cox’s Bazar sea beach turned lively with a giant influx of tourists on the second day of Eid-ul-Azha.

From morning, large crowds of tourists were seen at Laboni, Sugandha, and Kolatoli points on the beach as holidaymakers from different parts of the country gathered to enjoy the sea waves and natural beauty with their families and loved ones.

Tourists reveled in the roaring waves and the beach’s scenic beauty.

While many took a dip in the sea, others walked along the sandy shore and took photographs to capture memorable moments.

A tourist from Dhaka, Sadia Rahman, said that Cox’s Bazar remained one of the best destinations to escape the fatigue of busy urban life.

‘We are having a wonderful time here with our family during the Eid holidays,’ she said.

Meanwhile, security measures have been strengthened at various points along the beach to ensure tourists’ safety.

Members of the Tourist Police and lifeguards were seen remaining on alert.

Superintendent of Police Nihad Adnan Taiyan said that Tourist Police members worked around the clock during the Eid holidays.

He stated that they had intensified surveillance not only at Kolatoli, Sugandha, and Laboni points, but also at Inani, Himchhari, and Patowartek tourist spots.

People in the tourism sector said the number of tourists was expected to increase further over the coming days due to the extended Eid holidays.

They added that bookings at most hotels, motels, and resorts in the town had already increased significantly.
