The annual picnic of the Cox’s Bazar district unit of Bangladesh Udichi Shilpigoshthi was held successfully at the Mirinja Tourist Complex in Lama upazila of Bandarban, a destination renowned for its hills, clouds, and scenic natural beauty.

Members of Udichi Cox’s Bazar district unit, along with their family members, departed Cox’s Bazar by bus at 8:00 am on Saturday (January 17) to take part in the day-long programme. Upon arrival, participants spent the day enjoying a range of activities in a festive atmosphere.

The programme featured games for children and teenagers, various competitions for men and women, a raffle, and a shared meal, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere throughout the day.

The picnic was organised under the overall supervision of Rubel Dhar, convenor of the picnic implementation committee. At the concluding session, prizes were awarded to the winners of various competitions.

Speaking on the occasion, Udichi Cox’s Bazar district unit president Ashutosh Rudra, general secretary Sourav Deb, and other leaders said that, like previous years, the annual picnic had been organised successfully. 

They added that such initiatives help strengthen mutual bonds among members and play an important role in advancing the organisation’s cultural and organisational activities.
