The country’s longest sea beach witnessed a massive influx of tourists on Friday. Thousands of tourists from across Bangladesh thronged the shoreline to enjoy their weekly holiday.

From early morning, families and groups of friends were seen relishing the beauty of the blue waters and spending quality time together.

The beach points at Laboni, Sugandha, and Kolatoli were bustling with activity, filled with children playing, teenagers splashing in the waves, and people of all ages enjoying the sea breeze.

Many tourists rode horses or rented colorful floating tubes to make the most of their seaside experience. The surge of visitors also turned the nearby hotel-motel zone and restaurants into lively hubs.

Local traders reported a sharp rise in sales, with food stalls and shell and dried fish markets teeming with eager buyers.

Authorities confirmed that adequate tourist police were deployed across the beach to ensure safety and a smooth visitor experience.
