With the onset of winter, markets across Cox’s Bazar are seeing a surge in cauliflower supplies.

Regular deliveries from local farmers and wholesalers have helped bring prices down compared to previous weeks, easing pressure on consumers while ensuring brisk sales for traders.

A visit to Baharchhara Market revealed that cauliflowers are being sold at prices ranging from Tk 30 to Tk 40 per piece, depending on their size and quality.

Cauliflower is a popular winter vegetable in high demand at hotels, restaurants, and grocery stores.

Vegetable traders say favorable winter weather has led to excellent yields in the fields.

Increased supply has helped keep prices stable, and they expect this trend to continue over the coming weeks.

Consumers, meanwhile, welcome the development, noting that good-quality cauliflower is now available at reasonable prices—a welcome relief in the winter vegetable market.
