As winter draws near, Cox’s Bazar—the world’s longest sea beach—takes on a fresh, enchanting look. In late October, the sunlight softens, deepening the blue hues of the sea.
The sky, too, turns a rich azure, mirroring the ocean below, as if the two are reflections of one another.
According to experts, humidity in the air drops before winter, allowing sunlight to reflect more clearly on the water’s surface.
This makes the sea appear bluer, while the clearer air enhances the brilliance of the sky—creating a pristine harmony of colors that defines this season.
Tourists describe this time of year as Cox’s Bazar at its most beautiful. “The blend of the blue sea and the blue sky feels unforgettable,” one visitor shared.
Local tourism operators say the number of visitors begins to rise in October and November, drawn by the cooler weather and the mesmerizing blue tones of the sea.
The serene waves, the crisp air, and the endless stretch of blue make Cox’s Bazar not just a destination but a feeling of calm that signals winter’s gentle arrival.
