The Election Commission (EC) has outlined preparations to ensure the smooth conduct of the 13th National Parliamentary Election, scheduled for February.
District election officials have already been instructed to update polling centers, finalize information on polling officials, resolve boundary-related complications, and submit necessary reports to the EC, said District Election Officer Mohammad Tofayel Hossain.
According to data from the District Election Office, nine upazilas of Cox’s Bazar have recorded 138,700 new voters this year.
The district election officer further noted that constituency-wise voter statistics for Cox’s Bazar are expected to be published later this week.
