The 10-day holiday for Eid-ul-Azha has turned Cox’s Bazar into a buzzing hub of activity, with hundreds of thousands of tourists arriving from across the country.

Families, groups of friends, and solo travelers are filling the beaches and nearby tourist attractions, turning the coastal town into a festive wonderland.

The scenic Marine Drive Road has become the lifeline of this seasonal travel boom, as visitors flock to popular spots like Inani, Himchari, Ramu, and Teknaf.

Among these, Inani Beach stands out as the top destination for many, thanks to its tranquil setting, azure waters, and the soothing roar of the sea.

Far from the city’s noise and chaos, Inani is winning hearts as a peaceful escape where travelers can unwind in the embrace of nature. The untouched charm of the surroundings has made it a favorite among those seeking meaningful moments in serene beauty.

Many tourists are also captivated by the natural wonders along the Marine Drive, where the interplay of rolling hills and endless sea creates a visual spectacle.

Groups of all ages joyfully explore one breathtaking location after another, whether by car, microbus, or tour bus.

To ensure a smooth and safe experience, the local administration has strengthened security and services. Tourist Police, district police, and other relevant agencies are stationed at key points to assist visitors.

Meanwhile, hotels, motels, and resorts are experiencing a surge in bookings, with many tourists securing their rooms well in advance.

Smiles are returning to the faces of those in the tourism industry, as the Eid season brings renewed business and hope.

Tourist Supan Islam shared, “I try to visit Cox’s Bazar every Eid. This time I brought my family to Inani — the natural beauty here truly touches the soul.”

Sumaiya Jafrin, another visitor, said, “Driving along Marine Drive to Inani feels like an adventure in itself. The entire road feels like a living painting.”

This Eid holiday has injected fresh energy into the tourism scene of Cox’s Bazar. Many believe that such long breaks are not only a treat for travelers but also a boost for the tourism sector’s revival and long-term growth.
