After several days of uninterrupted rain, the weather finally cleared up, blessing Cox’s Bazar with a bright and sunny day. As the skies turned blue and the winds calmed, tourists began flocking back to the beach, transforming the shoreline into a vibrant hub of activity by the afternoon.
A visit to the beach revealed a festive scene — visitors from all over the country had arrived with their families and friends to enjoy the warmth of the sun and the beauty of the sea. Some plunged into the salty waves, while others captured memories on the sandy shores or indulged in games along the beach.
However, all was not entirely safe. Certain sections of the beach had developed deep pits and strong reverse currents. Lifeguards raised red flags to warn against dangerous swimming conditions, but many tourists ignored the alerts and ventured into the water.
Authorities continue to advise beachgoers to prioritise safety and appreciate the rejuvenated beauty of Cox’s Bazar under the clear summer sky.
