In the rural areas of Cox’s Bazar, fallen tree branches have become a favourite play spot for children.
When storms or natural causes bring down large branches, they become a source of endless joy for the village kids.
Some climb and swing on the branches, others sit on them sharing stories, while a few turn them into imaginary boats or horses.
Their laughter and excitement fill the surroundings, adding vibrant colours to their childhood.
Locals say that children in Cox’s Bazar grow close to nature even without modern play equipment. Tree branches, pondsides, and open fields become their playgrounds.
Child development experts note that such play enhances children’s physical strength and fosters social bonding and friendships among them.
