At the very beginning of the Cox’s Bazar Marine Drive lies Vangar Mor Point—where the blue sea meets the shadow of the hills.

As usual, a group of fishermen went down to the water at first light.

But the scene that unfolded that morning was anything but ordinary; it felt as though nature had arranged an unexpected festival of its own.

The fishermen gripped both ends of the cast net and began pulling it ashore. Moments later, it became clear that the day’s catch was far from typical.

The net was heavy—bursting with large, silvery fish. Sweat dripped down their brows as they struggled to haul it in.

Even with several men pulling together, managing the weight proved to be no simple task.

As the net neared the shore, flashes of silver leapt from the cold waves—fish jumping in the morning light as if performing a dawn show scripted by nature itself.

Many tourists who were out for a fresh morning walk on the beach stopped in their tracks at the sight. Within minutes, a curious crowd gathered at Vangarmoor.

For them, watching a net filled with fish being pulled ashore was a rare and thrilling experience. Some cheered, some captured videos on their phones, and others clicked away with their cameras, trying to freeze the magic of the moment.

One tourist said, “I’ve never seen fishermen hauling in a live net like this. It felt like a documentary unfolding right before my eyes. This moment made my Cox’s Bazar trip even more special.”

Though the fishermen looked exhausted from the struggle, their faces lit up with joy. One fisherman, smiling, said, “We got a fantastic catch today. The net became so heavy. The result is our happiness.”

Waves crashing against the shore, the glittering fish caught in the net, and the excitement of the tourists—all came together to create a vibrant morning canvas at Vangarmor.

It was a rare moment when nature, work, and happiness converged to create a beautiful scene.

Such mornings are not an everyday occurrence in Cox’s Bazar, but moments like these deepen visitors’ love for the beach.
That dawn at Vangarmoor will remain, for many, an unexpected yet unforgettable memory.
