A captivating sunflower garden has emerged in Ramu Upazila of Cox’s Bazar, drawing visitors with its vibrant colours and serene charm. Standing tall under the soft morning sun, rows of large sunflowers resemble a living canvas of nature, leaving onlookers spellbound by their bright yellow beauty.
The garden has caught public attention in the Middle Merangloa area of Ramu, near the site where a new building of Bankkhali New High School is being constructed.
Spread across the wetland in front of Ramu Laboratory High School, the sunflower field has now turned into a scenic retreat for locals and visitors alike.
From early morning, crowds can be seen gathering in the garden. Some visit with family members, while others come with friends to spend leisure time.
Many are seen capturing the fleeting beauty of the flowers on their mobile phones and cameras, preserving moments amid nature’s splendour.
Visitor Rafiqul Islam Saidee said, “The garden is truly beautiful. A group of friends and I went there together. Seeing the sunflowers instantly lifts the mood. We took photos and really enjoyed ourselves.”
According to local residents, the sunflower garden is enhancing the area’s beauty and identity. Many believe that, with proper planning and initiatives, it could eventually become a small tourist attraction.
