Ahead of the 13th National Parliamentary Election–2026, a training workshop was held for postal ballot counting officers in Cox’s Bazar.

The workshop took place on 10 February at the Cox’s Bazar K.G. & Model High School premises, organized by the Cox’s Bazar District Election Office.

Cox’s Bazar District Commissioner Md. A. Mannan attended as the chief guest, while Cox’s Bazar District Police Superintendent A.N.M. Sajedur Rahman was present as a special guest.

The workshop focused on the legal provisions regarding the receipt, storage, and counting of postal ballots. Participants were also trained to ensure transparency and impartiality throughout the election process, maintain professionalism in their duties, and safeguard the credibility of the electoral system.

Speakers emphasized that effective postal ballot management is crucial for conducting a free, fair, and impartial election. The honesty, competence, and lawful conduct of responsible officers will strengthen public confidence in the election system.
