As winter approaches, local women are cultivating early-season vegetables on the sandy dunes along the Cox’s Bazar coast. Turning otherwise uncultivated sandy land into productive plots, they are growing a variety of vegetables to support their families and earn extra income. Despite challenging conditions and limited resources, their hard work is bringing new life to the coastal landscape. If the weather remains favourable and yields are good, the growers hope to supply fresh vegetables to local markets and make a profit.
