The ILO-ISEC Project, Enroute International Limited, and the Cox’s Bazar Organization for Persons with Disabilities Youth Development (COX OPD) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to ensure inclusive development in Cox’s Bazar’s tourism industry.

The MoU aims to enhance skills development for youth with disabilities, create new economic opportunities for women and young people, and foster an inclusive environment in Cox’s Bazar’s tourism sector.

The MoU, signed on Sunday, outlines roles and responsibilities for both parties. Under the ILO-ISEC project, Enroute International Limited will lead entrepreneurial training, gender and tourism etiquette courses, and local tourism development initiatives.

Meanwhile, COX OPD will focus on profiling trainees, supporting training activities, and coordinating with the local community for successful implementation.

Global Affairs Canada funds the ISEC Project, which the International Labour Organization (ILO) manages. It promotes a gender-sensitive and climate-conscious tourism environment while developing local tourism packages and creating dignified employment opportunities for women in the tourism sector.
