A stunning sunrise over the world’s longest unbroken sea beach in Cox’s Bazar welcomed the dawn of 2025 as 2024 bids farewell.

Tourists and locals gathered along the shore to witness this breathtaking moment, embracing the new year with hope and peace. Many expressed their aspirations for better days ahead in 2025.

Moments before midnight, the beach’s Kolatoli, Sugandha, and Laboni points were bustling with visitors. Thousands celebrated the transition with joy and festivity, enthusiastically bidding adieu to 2024 and ushering in 2025.

However, security concerns have restricted open-air celebrations in Cox’s Bazar for several years. This year was no exception. While public events were absent, luxury hotels hosted private celebrations to mark the occasion, keeping the spirit of New Year’s Eve alive indoors.
